De Bethune Dream Watch Two Presents Innovative Silicon Tourbillon

The De Bethune Dream Watch Two expands the reputation of luxury watchmaker De Bethune for technically inventive, exclusive haute horlogerie.  Presented in a strikingly designed platinum case with floating lugs, the Dream Watch Two showcases a number of striking technical specialties, realized with the most cutting-edge materials.

In the creation of this watch, De Bethune sought to change the traditional parameters that govern the construction of tourbillons, and indeed, the escapement in general.  Following up the brand's development of a temperature-compensated balance wheel in 2006, De Bethune pushes the envelope one gigantic step forward with a non-traditional tourbillon, which dispenses with a cage and pillars.  As a result of this construction, as well as the use of silicon, the tourbillon weighs in at less than 0.18 grams.  The De Bethune Dream Watch Two is therefore not just another fine luxury watch--it is also a high performance testing platform for the brand's innovative silicon balance.  

In addition to its unusual tourbillon, the De Bethune Dream Watch Two incorporates a minute repeater  and a perpetual calendar.  A special feature, and one which has become a De Bethune technical signature, is the unique three-dimensional revolving moonphase indicator which is made from platinum and fire-blued steel.  Power reserve of this De Bethune movement is five days.
