Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Ultra Thin Watch

Jaeger-LeCoultre has introduced a new model into its group of exquisitely slender Master Control Ultra Thin watches.  The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Ultra Thin 40 watch is distinguished by a larger 40mm diameter case, and the inclusion of a subsidiary seconds display.  Stylistic elements, among them the dauphine hands and faceted hour markers, pay tribute to classical dress watches from the 1950's.  The alligator leather strap is fitted with a deployant buckle in 18K gold or stainless steel, according to the model.  A matching bracelet is also available for the stainless reference.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Ultra Thin 40 watch is animated by the self-winding JLC 896 caliber.  Manufactured by Jaeger-LeCoultre, the movement has a balance frequency of 28,800 alternations per hour, and a 43-hour power reserve.  Decorative elements include "Cotes Circulaires" patterns on the bridges, and circular graining on the plate; the central rotor features a peripheral 21K gold mass which improves winding efficiency.
