Audemars Piguet Haute Joaillerie Watches: Carnet de Bal And Coup de Theatre

Audemars Piguet has enriched its feminine watch collection with two spectacular haute joaillerie sets: the "Coup de Theatre" and "Carnet de Bal".  Both represent many hundreds of hours of labor, and unify traditional Swiss watchmaking with the finest in the jewelry arts.

The Audemars Piguet Coup de Theatre watch employs 18-karat white gold and diamonds to produce a truly magnificent creation for ladies formal wear.  The semi-rigid bracelet is set with round brilliant diamonds of various sizes, and presents a number of free pendant diamonds; the dazzling theme is carried on in the pave-set dial.  In total, the Coup de Theatre watch comprises 853 brilliant-cuts, whose total weight amounts to 123 carats.  Movement is the manual-winding 2046 caliber, which features 18 jewels, a balance wheel frequency of 21,600 beats per hour, and a 42-hour power reserve; traditional Cotes de Geneve, anglage, and circular graining decorations adorn the bridges and mainplate.

Inspired by floral arrangements, the Audemars Piguet Carnet de Bal watch is an exceptionally intricate creation set with diamonds of many shapes, including the round brilliant, pear, marquise, and baguette. The semi-rigid 18-karat white gold bracelet is custom adjusted by Audemars Piguet to exactly fit its owner and features a safety clasp.  In total, the Carnet de Bal watch features 481 diamonds, whose total weight is 59.53 carats.  Like the Coup de Theatre, this model also features the manual-winding 2046 caliber movement.

Audemars Piguet has also created matching necklaces to accompany these exceptional timepieces.  The white gold Coup de Theatre choker features 1,673 round brilliant diamonds with a total weight of 204 carats, while the Carnet de Bal choker unites 1,039 round brilliant, marquise, pear and baguette-cut diamonds.
