Parmigiani Tondagraph 43 Tourbillon-Chronograph, Limited Edition Of 15 Pieces

With the introduction of the Tondagraph 43 Tourbillon-Chronograph, Swiss watchmaker Parmigiani Fleurier has given added emphasis to its reputation as a member of the haute horlogerie elite.  

Limited to a series of fifteen individually numbered pieces, the Tondagraph 43 Tourbillon-Chronograph features a 43mm case in polished 18-karat white gold, and a sapphire crystal.  Large sweeping lugs are a bold Parmigiani Fleurier signature, and provide a strong counterbalance to the stalk-type chronograph pushers.  A marvel of hand-executed detail, the silver dial displays a Cotes de Geneve pattern in the center, an opaline ring, and applique indices and Alpha hands in polished gold.  The one-minute tourbillon is borne on a hand-polished bridge that gleams with a fine specular polish.  

The Parmigiani Tondagraph 43 Tourbillon-Chronograph is controlled by the manufacture PF 354 caliber.  This complex work of micro-mechanical art is showcased through not only through the dial aperture, but also a sapphire window in the caseback.  Among the many points of fine execution include screws which have been polished on both their sides and tops, beveled jewel settings, Cotes de Geneve patterns on the bridges, and bridge edges which have been rounded and polished.  Parmigiani's press material notes that the tourbillon cage alone necessitates nearly 40 hours of finishing work, to achieve the necessary standards of finishing excellence.  

Each of the fifteen Parmigiani Tondagraph 43 Tourbillon-Chronographs will feature a luxurious Hermes alligator strap and a white gold deployant buckle.  Water resistance is rated for 30 meters.
