F.P. Journe Writing Instruments Debut In December

Luxury watchmaker F.P. Journe now has a collection of fine writing instruments to supplement its exceptional timepieces.  In the same manner that acclaimed F.P. Journe watches such as the Chronometre a Resonance, Sonnerie Souveraine and Centrigraphe Souveraine have earned their reputation, these fountain and rollerball pens reflect a concept of artisanal craftsmanship and mechanical brilliance.

The F.P. Journe writing instruments are extensively worked by hand and feature guilloche-engraved and lacquered platinum bodies with red gold mountings. Of particular note is the fountain pen, which features a unique--and patented--retractable mechanism for the 18-karat red gold nib.  

The F.P. Journe writing instruments will be available this month, their introduction coinciding with the December 8th opening of a new boutique at 63 Faubourg St Honore in Paris.  The pens will be offered for sale at each of F.P. Journe's five global boutiques.
