Vacheron Constantin Websites Win Webby Awards

As one of the world's most distinguished watch manufacturers, Vacheron Constantin has earned great acclaim for its superb timepieces.  Now, the company can add website design to its list of recognized achievements.  At the 11th edition of the Webby Awards, which recognizes international excellence in online media, Vacheron Constantin claimed prizes for its "Hour Lounge" public discussion forum and its special site created for the launch of the "Metiers d'Art Les Masques collection".  

The Webby award for "2008 Community Standard of Excellence Award" was given to Vacheron Constantin for its Hour Lounge forum, while the site for the Les Masques watch collection got the "2008 Outstanding Website Award".  Both sites were constructed by Vacheron Constantin in conjunction with its web agency Blue Infinity.  

In all, more than 2,400 entries were submitted at the 2008 Webby Awards.  Among this diverse group were some of the pre-eminent agencies in both America and the United Kingdom.  Presiding over the entries was a jury comprised of leaders in the worlds of media, interactivity, advertising, and marketing.  These professionals evaluated each entrant for the quality of design concept, as well as the functionality and inherent user-friendliness.
