Piaget Emperador Cushion Grande Luna Watch

The poetic moonphase complication is the technical highlight of Piaget's newest Emperador Cushion timepiece.  Presented in a 43mm 18K white gold, the Piaget Emperador Cushion Grande Luna features an elegant slate grey dial with a satin-finished central section.  Visually dominant is the exceptionally bold moonphase indicator, which is crafted from white gold, and displays a texture which evokes the rocky lunar surface.  

Ticking behind the hand-engraved white gold caseback of the Piaget Emperador Cushion Grande Luna watch is the in-house Piaget 860P caliber.  Standing at 6.1 millimeters in height, and comprising 25 jewels, the 860P features a balance frequency of 21,600 beats per hour, and a power reserve of 72 hours.  Among the decorative refinements include circular graining on the mainplate, Cotes Circulaires patterns on the bridges, and edges which display fine chamfering.  Screws are finely blued.  

Each of these Piaget watches is fitted to a strap in hand-sewn alligator leather, and a white gold deployant clasp.  The dial is protected by a flat sapphire crystal.
