The Herios TriRetrograde dial is a unique combination of classical elements and exposed mechanical intricacy. A peripheral section, bearing modernized Arabic numerals encircles a central section that bears the skeletonized, blued steel hour and minute hands, as well as three mysterious retrograde hands which each govern their own individual arc-shaped sector. Cotes de Geneve and perlage decorations highlight the horological fascination that plays out upon this sparkling stage.

The Milus Herios TriRetrograde watch is animated by a mechanical movement, which is self-winding in operation; it offers a unique technical surprise--a three-part retrograde second complication. Alternating in a clockwise motion, each blued steel hand is propelled smoothly through its individual 20-second sector. Upon completion of its 20-second travel, the hand in motion instantly snaps back to its starting position and the next hand picks up where its companion left off. The result is a mesmerizing, continual clockwise play of retrograde action, cycling in a clockwise motion around the dial.
