Each Corum Classical Dragon Phoenix watch shows off a magnificent mother of pearl dial which has been painstakingly engraved, then vibrantly painted with lacquer in an intricate and extremely tedious multi-layer process which is repeatedly kiln fired.  With this particular Artisan watch, Corum has sought to pay respect to two celebrated Chinese symbols--the dragon and the phoenix which represent the yin and the yang, polar opposites, who, when merged, become a union far stronger than their own individual entities. 

Thanks to the completely hand-rendered work of these dials, no two examples of these Corum watches are ever exactly alike, and a unique number placed upon the dial reflects this exceptional quality.  The Corum Classical Dragon Phoenix watch is animated by a selfwinding Swiss movement, which over time has proven its versatility, precision, and mechanical reliability.  Each of these movements has been exclusively modified for Corum with a fascinating jumping hour mechanism; as the hour hand completes a revolution, a new hour springs instantly into place in the window at 12 o'clock.  The movement offers a power reserve of approximately 42 hours, and its fine perlage decoration and Corum-personalized rotor can be readily admired through a sapphire crystal window in the caseback.

The Corum Classical Dragon Phoenix watch is produced in a limited edition of 50 pieces in 18K rose, yellow, or white gold.  The finely crafted 40mm case of this limited edition Corum Artisan Collection timepiece is set with full-cut diamonds on the bezel, caselugs, and winding crown, and each example is completed by a luxurious, fine-quality crocodile strap with an 18K gold deployant buckle.
