The Calibre 25 movement is composed of 268 individual pieces, each of which has been meticulously finished by hand; the winding rotor, made from 22-karat gold, is finely carved by hand, and skeletonized to show the Blancpain signature.  The vsurfaces of the bridges are finished with Cotes de Geneve and perlage decoration, and the edges have been patiently rounded using the anglage technique.  Constructed and fine-tuned by a single Blancpain master watchmaker, the movement within each Villeret Tourbillon Power Reserve watch is an achievement of both technical skill and the traditional handcraft.
