In 2010, Audemars Piguet will introduce forged carbon cases--an innovation first debuted on the Royal Oak Offshore Alinghi Team Chronograph --to the Royal Oak Offshore watch collection for women. A striking combination of cutting edge sports technique and luxurious brilliance, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Ladies Chronograph Forged Carbon watch features a 37mm case and octagonal bezel in ultra-light forged carbon; a steel insert displays the signature hexagonal screws of the Royal Oak design, alternated by round brilliant diamonds in groups of four. The black dial displays the exclusive "Mega Tapisserie" motif, whose rich texture supports applied Arabic hour markers and baton hands in white gold; red accents on the central chronograph hands and the minute scale contribute an air of dashing sportiness.

The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Ladies Chronograph watch in forged carbon is animated by the self-winding 2385 caliber. Impeccably decorated by hand in the haute horlogerie tradition, the 2385 caliber features a balance frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, and a 40-hour power reserve. In the manner of the best traditional chronographs, the 2385 incorporates a column-wheel. In addition to the chronograph, the caliber also animates a date display that can be readily advanced via the rubber-encased winding crown.

The Royal Oak Offshore Ladies Chronograph Forged Carbon watch is water resistant to 50 meters. Completing the timepiece is a grooved rubber strap and an AP folding clasp in blackened stainless steel.
