Protected beneath the stainless steel caseback of the Royal Oak watch, this movement has been refined in the classical traditions. The mainplate is decorated with circular-graining, while the bridges feature Cotes de Geneve striping, and beautiful chamfered edges. The winding rotor also displays Geneva stripes, and in addition, features a 21K gold mass to ensure maximum winding efficiency. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch is produced in both stainless steel and 18K yellow gold; several dials are offered, each of which display the intricate "Grande Tapisserie" pattern, and luminous hands and hour markers crafted from polished gold.
