Glashutte Original NightShade Tourbillon Watch Joins Star Collection

The Glashutte Original NightShade Tourbillon watch is the first tourbillon model to join the brand's luxurious and fanciful Star Collection.  It is a spectacular union of the most prestigious watchmaking and the highest expression of the jewelers art, and represents the highest aspirations of this distinguished, feminine collection.

Crafted from 18K white gold, the case of the NightShade Tourbillon watch features a magnificent bezel set with 44 baguette diamonds; the faceted white gold crown is also set with a single diamond.  The black dial features a unique design set with 107 round brilliant diamonds, whose form takes on the shape of a gleaming star, radiating outward from the panorama date display.  An additional 15 diamonds mark the hours on the off-centered time display, and beneath it turns the flying tourbillon, whose design is in accordance with the principles laid down by famed Glashutte watchmaker, Alfred Helwig.  The delicate device turns on its axis once per minute, marking off the seconds as it does so thanks to a small hand mounted on its rim.  A luxurious strap in black galuchat and a diamond-set white gold buckle accentuates the ethereal look of this precious timepiece.

The Glashutte Original NightShade Tourbillon watch is animated by the self-winding 93-1 caliber.  This mechanical gem--manufactured by Glashutte Original--radiates the finest in the Saxon watchmaking tradition, and its luxurious finishing can be admired through a sapphire crystal window in the caseback.
