Bovet Fleurier Complications "Les Heures du Monde" Tourbillon Watch

The Bovet "Les Heures du Monde" Tourbillon watch is a remarkable creation of haute horlogerie. This artistic creation of the house of Bovet realizes with beauty and exceptional artisanal craftsmanship the union of a tourbillon regulator with a second timezone function; the latter is enhanced by a selectable reference city of the world, and a day/night indicator. Two mainspring barrels give the mechanism an impressive power reserve of 7 days.

The Bovet "Les Heures du Monde" Tourbillon watch features a 46mm case crafted from 18K white or red gold; the crown and strap lugs are set with sapphire cabochons. Crafted from transparent rock crystal the dial is adorned with a complex hand-executed guilloche pattern. This stage richly presents the many technical wonders of the timepiece, including the one-minute tourbillon, whose cage is shaped in the form of a lotus flower. The upper and lower subdials showcase the two timezones; the lower is synchronized with a day/night indicator, and the city display, which appears at 9 o'clock. Two pushpieces on the left side of the case facilitate rapid adjustment of the secondary timezone, and its corresponding reference city. A red-tipped hand sweeps across its semi-circular scale to indicate the status of the power reserve.

Bovet's manufacture Dimier T7 caliber is a fine demonstration of the art and craft of haute horlogerie. Its many fine decorative elements include fire-blued angled screws, Cotes de Geneve decoration, and a 22K gold rotor engraved in the fleurisanne style. A sapphire crystal exhibition window in the back of the "Les Heures du Monde" watch allows a full view of these aesthetic refinements.

A hand-sewn alligator strap and an 18K deployant buckle completes this exquisite Bovet timepiece. Water resistance is rated at 30 meters.
