Montegrappa Antonio Stradivari Limited Edition Fountain Pen

Italian pen manufacturer Montegrappa has introduced a new, limited edition fountain pen in its Genio Creativo collection, which pays homage to fabled luthier Antonio Stradivari. The body and cap of this pen is crafted from resin which duplicates the grain of Italian red fir--a wood which Stradivari employed in the construction of his instruments; the sensual curves are inspired by the shape of viol-family instruments, and the platinum clip echoes the fingerboard of violins, cellos, and violas. A topaz adorns the top of the cap, and is a signature of Montegrappa's Genio Creativo Collection.

The Montegrappa Stradivari Fountain Pen features an 18K white gold nib, which is engraved with a violin and the seal of Antonio Stradivari. 2,000 pieces will be offered. The Montegrappa Antonio Stradivari Limited Edition also comprises a series of 3,000 rollerball pens, and 5,000 ballpoint pens; both share the unique shape and elegant combination of materials that distinguish the fountain pen.
