Fortis Spacematic Watch For Monaco "Pit Stop" Car Exhibition

A limited edition Fortis Spacematic watch and four striking mechanical sculptures by Swiss artist Jean Tinguely will highlight Monaco's 2008 vintage car exhibit "Pit Stop", which runs through the summer season.  Keenly aware of the synergy between fine automobiles and mechanical watches, Fortis chooses to mark these festivities with a timepiece that clearly illuminates the connection.  

Limited to an edition of just 100 pieces, the Fortis Spacematic Art Edition watch features a sandblasted stainless steel case with a screw-down crown and caseback, and showcases a unique transparent sapphire dial that reveals structures of the mechanism.  Each timepiece is individually numbered, with number 001/100 being donated to Prince Albert of Monaco.
