Cvstos Challenge Tourbillon Yachting Watch, Limited Edition Of 25 In Platinum

Cvstos presents an extremely limited tourbillon watch whose design is inspired by nautical themes. The Cvstos Challenge Tourbillon Yachting watch features a tonneau-shaped 53.70 X 41mm platinum case whose curvature is ergonomically ideal for the human wrist.  Displaying the contemporary design that has come to characterize the Cvstos timepiece line, this case is distinguished also by striking elliptical windows in the side of the case, which permit an unusual view of the complex mechanical movement; when combined with the transparent sapphire crystal dial and caseback, the result is an pleasing voyage into the heart of extremely refined haute horlogerie craftsmanship.  On both the sides of the case and the titanium winding crown, blue rubber accents evoke the color of tropical ocean water.  Water resistance is rated at an appropriate 100 meters.

The Cvstos Challenge Tourbillon Yachting watch is animated by the manually wound CVS2600CY caliber, an exclusive development of Cvstos.  Anodized blue aluminum decorates the mainspring barrel cover, and the cage of the one-minute tourbillon.  In addition to the fine finish applied to each piece, bridge motifs in inlaid teak wood evoke the luxurious design of a fine yacht.  Power reserve of the Cvstos CVS2600CY caliber is 60 hours, and balance wheel frequency is 18,000 alternations per hour.

Cvstos will produce just 25 pieces of the Challenge Tourbillon Yachting watch.  Each timepiece is completed by a blue rubber strap whose color matches the decorative elements on the case and titanium winding crown.
