Valentino Fashion House Debuts Timeless Watch Line

Valentino, the famous fashion house, will release its exclusive watch collections for sale to the public this month.  The Valentino line of timepieces, which comprises eight models for women and two for men, was well received at Baselworld 2008.  The timepieces, whose production is the result of a 2007 license agreement with Timex Group Luxury Watches will be offered at high-end retailers first, with brand exclusive boutiques coming a month later, in September.  

Among the models for women include the decidedly feminine "Etoile", and the distinctive and elegant "Vanity" watch, whose striking diamond-set case with radiating spires is inspired by the Russian constructivist art movement.  Men too can enjoy the new range of Valentino timepieces.  The most casual of the two watch offerings for men is the "Homme", a limited edition stainless steel automatic chronograph accentuated with synthetic materials such as polyurethane; the "Prestige" line presents an eye-catching case shape with a screw-decorated bezel, and a number of other refined and complex finishing details.  

Each Valentino watch will be packaged in an elegant and luxurious manner whose lavish use of silk emphasizes the prestigious heritage of the house of Valentino.
