The Beverly Hills boutique of Swiss watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen on Brighton Way has been selected for a "Year 2008 City of Beverly Hills Architectural Design Award", an honor it will share with the adjoining stores of fellow Richemont Group brands Jaeger-LeCoultre and Officine Panerai. Bestowed by the city of Beverly Hills, the accolade recognizes commercial architecture that makes best use of materials, color combinations and signage to achieve optimum cohesion with nearby businesses. Barteluce Architects & Associates were responsible for the design of the three storefronts.
IWC Shaffhausen's first boutique in Los Angeles, the Beverly Hills location opened its doors in October of 2008. In the short time it has been open, the two-story storefront has received great acclaim, drawing excellent visibility to IWC timepieces, even with the strong luxury competition found at this busy Beverly Hills intersection.
"It is the first multi-story storefront by IWC," said Benoit de Clerck, President of IWC North America. "We wanted to make our mark in Beverly Hills, and this is one of the many ways in which we have done so."
With the Beverly Hills location included, IWC has twenty-four exclusive stores throughout the world. Each IWC boutique combines conveys the essential "DNA" of the historic Swiss watch brand to create an opulent and welcoming environment for buyers and connoisseurs of luxury watches.
