Ultra-exclusive watchmaking brand MB&F (Maximilian Büsser & Friends) has appointed Serge Kriknoff as Chief Operational Officer and partner. Kriknoff brings with him considerable experience in the luxury watch industry, having served as the Managing Director at G&F Chatelain SA, a supplier for specialized watch cases and buckles, among them those for the MB&F Horlogical Machines No. 1 and No. 2. Prior to that, Kriknoff had been Production Director at Harry Winston, and Quality Director at Breguet/Lemania. He has also served as the head for Research & Development at Piaget Watches.
MB&F has also recently inaugurated a North American office to serve the growing numbers of MB&F watch aficianados in the United States. Stephen Hallock, an active member of the online horological community, is serving as manager of the new operation. Hallock's duties include cultivating awareness of MB&F watches, deepening relationships with existing clients, and facilitating relationships with retailers and the luxury industry press as an MB&F brand ambassador.
In other news, MB&F founder Maximilian Büsser wishes to assure devotees of the brand that the development of the anticipated Horlogical Machine No. 3 watch is progressing well, with a presentation planned for late October. Deliveries of the first HM3 watches should take place in the first half of 2009.
