The Jaquet Droz Reserve de Marche Ceramique watch, as its name suggests, stands out with a 44mm case crafted from high-tech black ceramic--a material as notable for its durability as it is for its unmistakably captivating appearance.  To compliment this novel case material, the Reserve de Marche Ceramique presents a rich black opaline dial.  Displaying the applied, hand-beveled rings and overlapping seconds and hour scales which were first introduced on the iconic Grande Seconde watch, this model contributes two additional striking red accents: a bold second hand which dominates the dial's lower hemisphere, and the captivating power reserve scale at the 9 o'clock position.  According to Jaquet Droz, the dominant black color scheme accented by red and white evokes the minimalistic elegance of the instrumentation of high-performance cars.  Animating the Jaquet Droz Reserve de Marche Ceramique watch is the self-winding JD 4063D caliber.  The chief technical characteristics of this movement are a balance wheel frequency of 28,800 beats per hour, and a 68 hour power reserve. Aesthetically, the caliber is adorned with Cotes de Geneve on its bridges, and its 22K gold central rotor showcases a black PVD finish.

The Jaquet Droz Reserve de Marche Ceramique watch is is a "Numerus Clausus of 88", and just 88 examples will be produced; each watch is engraved with its individual number on the caseback.  A rubber strap and a PVD-finished steel folding clasp completes the elegantly sporty impression.  The timepiece is fitted with a sapphire crystal, and is water resistant to 30 meters.
