Gerald Genta Octo Place de l'Etoile Watch

A luminous new variation of the Gerald Genta Octo watch pays homage to the Place de l'Etoile in Paris, the celebrated locale around the Arc du Triomphe, from which the Champs-Elysées and eleven other famous streets extend forth.

Crafted from 18-karat red gold, the 39mm Gerald Genta Octo Place de l'Etoile watch presents an opulent combination of enameled and pave diamond-set motifs that are suggestive of the Parisian cobblestone streets.  For this model, the house of Gerald Genta has placed the jumping hour aperture at 11 o'clock, a design element which unites with the strikingly engraved bezel to produce a particularly luxurious and distinctive appearance.  In other aspects, from the complex octagonal case design, to the ball-adorned gold crown with an onyx cabochon, this model shares commonality with other watches from the Gerald Genta Octo collection.  The exotic mauve-colored strap is made from acqualino leather, and connects to the wrist via a deployant clasp in red gold.

The Gerald Genta Octo Place de l'Etoile watch is animated by a self-winding movement, which has been elaborated by the house for the jumping hour and retrograde minute complications.   The crystal is manufactured from scratch-resistant sapphire.
