Jaeger-LeCoultre And Aston Martin Racing Form Technical Partnership Prior To Le Mans 24 Hours

The productive relationship between Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre and luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin gains renewed strength in 2009.  Just three months prior to the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race--an event of considerable historic importance for the Aston Martin Racing Team--Jaeger-LeCoultre announces its entry into a three-year technical partnership with Aston Martin.  To commemorate its status as "Official Watch Partner", the manufacturer from Le Sentier will create a special AMVOX Racing watch.

Among the most prestigious and historically distinguished companies within their respective fields, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin ideally symbolize the spiritual connection between luxury watchmaking and the finest automobiles.  Since 2004, Jaeger-LeCoultre has presented special timepieces designed in conjunction with Aston Martin.  The culmination of this joint product development occurred in 2008, when Jaeger-LeCoultre debuted the remarkable AMVOX2 DBS Transponder watch, a timepiece capable of controlling the opening, locking and security sequence for a V12 Aston Martin DBS car.
