Parmigiani Fleurier Pershing Tourbillon Ajoure, Limited Edition Of 40 Pieces

Parmigiani Fleurier's sporty, yacht-inspired Pershing watch collection has been enriched with the most celebrated of complications.  Offered in an edition of 40 pieces--including 10 examples with a baguette diamond bezel--the Parmigiani Pershing Tourbillon Ajoure features a case in palladium 950, a graduated rotating bezel, and a rubber strap with a palladium folding clasp.  

The manual winding movement exemplifies the highest standards of watchmaking craftsmanship, and is revealed in full by a sapphire crystal dial.  Manufactured by Parmigiani Fleurier, the caliber PF511 displays openworked sections which reveal various components of the mechanism, and an exceptional devotion to fine finishing. A PVD color treatment applied to the bridges creates a distinctive optical effect.  On a technical level, the tourbillon cage completes a revolution on its axis every 30 seconds, a technical feature which sets it apart from many of its high-luxury competitors.  Not merely visually striking, the tourbillon's rapid rotation speed gives better rate constancy, according to Parmigiani Fleurier.  The movement has double spring barrels, and a 7-day power reserve.  

Balance frequency is 21,600 beats per hour.
