Audemars Piguet Millenary Pianoforte And Equation Of Time Win Awards In Geneva

Audemars Piguet was a big winner at the prestigious Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve on November 13th, claiming jury prizes for both "Favorite Jewelry Watch" and "Favorite Full Calendar Watch".  The dual victory reprises the result that Audemars Piguet achieved at the important Geneva awards ceremony in 2007.  

Recipient of the "Favorite Jewelry Watch", was Audemars Piguet's Millenary Pianoforte Sertie.  Crafted from 18K white gold, the Millenary's oval case is pave-set with 311 round brilliant diamonds, a detail echoed by the piano-key inspired dial with its pave-set central section.   "Favorite Full Calendar Watch" was earned by the extremely complex Jules Audemars Equation of Time Skeleton watch; presented in platinum, this model offers a perpetual calendar, moon phases, equation of time, time of sunrise and sunset, and a complication that displays the moment of solar culmination.   The mechanism has been extensively open worked, providing a real delight for connoisseurs.
