Girard-Perregaux Three Bridges Writing Instruments

Girard-Perregaux's magnificent Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridges has inspired a new collection of Girard-Perregaux writing instruments.  As aesthetically harmonious as they are exactingly crafted, these pens feature a number of exclusive details, not the least of which is the clip whose shape evokes the famous bridges in Constant Girard's original watchmaking masterpiece.  The polished resin from which the body of the writing instruments are crafted is accentuated by silver or gold and engraved with an elegant striated pattern. 

Girard-Perregaux will offer the Three Bridges writing instruments in both fountain and rollerball models.  The fountain pen versions feature engraved gold nibs, and utilize a high-capacity double reservoir system that minimizes any risk of leakage.  The bodies of the writing instruments all share the detail of three openings that--like a power reserve indicator on a mechanical watch--reveal how much ink is remaining.  

Production of the Girard-Perregaux Three Bridges writing instruments will be strictly limited.  Both fountain and rollerball models in silver will be made in a limited series of 999 pieces each, or a set of both--in a series of 199.  Even more limited is an 18K pink gold fountain pen, which is restricted to a series of just 99 pieces.  They will be available through select Girard-Perregaux watch retailers, and shops dedicated to fine writing instruments.
