Alan Chinich To Become President Of Ebel North America

Alan Chinich, former managing director of Tommy Hilfiger watches, has been named president of Ebel North America.  Among the responsibilities he will assume include all functions of sales and marketing for the United States, Canada, and the Carribbean region.

Mr. Chinich brings with him two decades of experience accumulated in the luxury eyewear industry.  Brands which Chinich has been involved with in a senior management capacity for marketing, sales and distribution include Montblanc, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, and Kenneth Cole.  Chinich has been involved with Movado Group--the watch company of which Ebel is part--since 2005.  

As managing director of Tommy Hilfiger watches, Chinich played a key role in more than doubling the size of the business, while gaining an impressive acumen in international relations through the comprehensive management of the fashion-oriented watch brand.
