Blancpain Opens Boutique In Dubai, Its Third In The Region

Swiss watchmaker Blancpain and Dubai-headquartered retail company Rivoli concluded a ribbon cutting ceremony for a luxurious new Blancpain boutique in the Dubai Mall.  On hand for the opening festivities were Nayla Hayek of the Swatch Group Board of Directors, and Ramesh Prabhakar, Managing Director of Rivoli.   The Dubai Mall Blancpain boutique is the third exclusive store which the Swiss watchmaker and Rivoli have opened in Dubai, following additions at the Emirates Towers and Burjuman. 

Blancpain is a company of the Swatch Group, the world's largest watch manufacturer and owner of such famous brands as Breguet, Omega and Longines.  The Swatch Group also owns movement manufacturers ETA, Frederic Piguet, and Nouvelle Lemania.  In July, the Swatch Group obtained an important stake in Rivoli, a leading operator of retail stores within the Middle East region.

Distinguished by elegant leather furniture, fine cabinetry and other sumptuous accents, Blancpain's new Dubai Mall boutique echoes elements of Blancpain's workshops in Le Brassus, Switzerland.  On display is the full collection of Blancpain timepieces, whose presentation is tastefully supplemented by media that gives insight into the techniques of classical watchmaking.
