Made from sapphire which has been printed with the chronograph indications, this dial's perfect transparency reveals the full glory of the luxurious "wind rose" guilloche pattern which adorns the movement plate beneath it.

The Zenith Grande Chronomaster XXT Tourbillon Concept watch utilizes a truly masterful mechanical movement--the Zenith El Primero 4005 C. This self-winding caliber, equipped with a 22-karat gold central rotor is remarkable in several respects. First, it naturally incorporates a horizontally-coupled chronograph mechanism that is governed by a column wheel; while these traditional, prestigious details pay homage to the noble lineage of fine chronographs, there is nothing traditional about this mechanism's remarkable precision. Thanks to the utterly unique, rapid 36,000 beats per hour frequency of this Zenith movement, the chronograph is endowed with an unusual degree of precision, corresponding to an exactitude of 1/10th of a second.

The intricate tourbillon, proudly displayed at the focal point on the dial, completes a single revolution each minute. Additionally, a disc that surrounds the tourbillon aperture indicates the date.
