The Ulysse Nardin GMT +/- Perpetual Limited Edition watch derives its abilities from the Caliber UN-32 movement.  Upon a distinguished automatic-winding structure from Lemania, Ulysse Nardin l has created a perpetual calendar mechanism that presents indications of day, grand date, month, and calendar year based entirely upon circular elements such as wheels and Maltese crosses; this is different from traditional perpetual calendars which rely on a more fragile structure of levers, cams and their attendant springs.  Not only more durable, the circular mechanical solutions adopted by Ulysse Nardin allow the entire calendar to be adjusted backwards as well as forwards, something not possible with the cam and lever approach.

The Ulysse Nardin GMT +/- Perpetual Limited Edition watch also incorporates Ulysse Nardin's extremely user-friendly GMT system, enabling the wearer to see his own home time (via the 24 hour hand) and make adjustments for changing local time with the 12-hour hand, which can be conveniently moved backwards or forwards using the two buttons on the side of the case.  This adjustable hour hand, in concert with the easily adjusted calendar, makes the Ulysse Nardin GMT +/- Perpetual Limited Edition watch the ideal perpetual calendar timepiece for those who frequently travel.

The Ulysse Nardin GMT +/- Perpetual Limited Edition watch is available in two variations, and two precious metals.  The first variation, in a stately 42mm case, is offered in platinum with a wave pattern dial, or in 18K rose gold with a choice of a wave patterned dial or a more classic silvered alternative.  The second variation of this beautiful watch is produced in a slightly smaller 40mm size, in 18K rose gold exclusively; this watch comes with either a silvered or a rosy colored dial.   All versions of the Ulysse Nardin GMT +/- Perpetual Limited Edition watch are offered on a fine, padded crocodile strap with a deployant buckle in either platinum or gold, according to the model.  With production strictly limited to just 500 pieces each for the world, this magnificent timepiece is sure to delight lovers of innovative high complications.
