The Ulysse Nardin Triple Jack Minute Repeater watch is a supreme example of haute horlogerie, uniting several exceptionally difficult disciplines within one harmoniously beautiful watch.  Ulysse Nardin once again demonstrates their ability to display the traditional, prestigious high complications with a unique artistic flair.  The heart of the Ulysse Nardin Triple Jack Minute Repeater watch is its intricate and refined manually wound UN-73 Caliber movement; featuring a complex structure of toothed racks and cams, this intricate mechanism translates the time indicated by the hands into a precise sequence of chimes, which are sounded out by tiny hammers which strike carefully tuned gongs, both visible operating through the sapphire caseback.  Each time the lever on the side of the caseback is operated, the repeater begins to sound---low notes signify the hours, a high low combination note represents the quarter hours, and individual high notes represent the minutes. 

As each delightfully tuned strike sounds, the automated Jacquemarts on the dial begin their work of tolling the bells.  The Jack on the left strikes the hours, and the two Jacks on the right work together for the high low combination of the quarter hours, while the Jack on the farthest right strikes the bell in a solo encore for the high notes of the individual minutes.   Watching the "work" of the miniature men, who are painstakingly rendered in gold, one is reminded of ancient times, when bells tolled the daily rhythm of a slower, less frenetic life.  The Ulysse Nardin Triple Jack Minute Repeater watch is presented in 18K rose gold with a white genuine enamel dial, or two versions in a platinum case, one with a mother of pearl dial, and the other with a stunning dial of lapis lazuli.  Each of these rare and complicated watches is limited to 18 pieces worldwide.
