At the upcoming Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie 2009, Swiss watchmaker JeanRichard will unveil a new timepiece collection inspired by Grand Prix motorcycle great Giacomo "Ago" Agostini. Through an illustrious seventeen-year career which spanned the 1960's and 1970's, Agostini won fifteen world championships and ten Isle of Man TT titles, distinguishing himself in both the 500cc and 350cc categories.
The last two years have seen JeanRichard repeatedly demonstrate its affinity for the world of high performance motorcycles; in 2007, the Swiss watch brand formed a partnership with Italian superbike maker MV Agusta, resulting in the creation of such thematic watches as the Chronoscope MV Agusta Brutale Nera. In 2008, a JeanRichard watch participated in a record-setting motorcycle speed run at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
In early 2008, the JeanRichard manufacture presented Giacomo Agostini with a Paramount MV75 watch, in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the world of motorcycling.
