The flawlessly machined case of the IWC Ingenieur Chronograph AMG fulfills the very stringent requirements demanded of a sports watch---that the carefully adjusted movement be fully protected against shocks, moisture, and strong magnetic fields. In this latter capacity, an iron cage which surrounds the movement ensures that magnetism will not spoil the watchs precision. Also worthy of note is the case itself---crafted of titanium, it is both hypo-allergenic and extremely lightweight, as well as strong. Crown and caseback screw in to ensure water-resistance to a depth of 120 meters.

A finely adjustable matching titanium bracelet or a black synthetic strap completes the watch.
