The Corum Classical Flying Dragon watch is a beautiful, limited edition watch that celebrates the ancient Chinese symbol which is associated with power, good fortune, and represents the yang, among other attributes. Produced exclusively in 18K white, rose, or yellow gold, the 42mm case of this unique timepiece displays full-cut diamonds set on the bezel, caselugs, and the winding crown. 

The dial of each Corum Classical Flying Dragon watch is a unique masterpiece which depicts the awesome dragon in his full splendor, as he takes wing; waves surround the dragon on all sides, which represents the ocean over which he is lord.  Each mother of pearl dial is painted by hand, ensuring that no two are exactly alike in detail or color palette--the painstaking work, which involves multiple layers of kiln-fired lacquer, leaves an image whose color, vibrancy and rich detail are truly stunning.  To reflect this rarity, every dial is individually numbered. 

The Corum Classical Flying Dragon watch is animated by a selfwinding Swiss movement which has proven over time to offer outstanding attributes of precision and reliability.  Each movement intended for a Classical Flying Dragon watch must undergo and pass the 15 day testing period of the Controle Officiel Suisse des Chronometres(COSC)--after meeting these stringent requirements of precision under a range of positional and temperature changes, each movement can claim the title of Chronometer. 

Thanks to a sapphire crystal window in the caseback of the Corum Classical Flying Dragon watch, the fine perlage decorations and Corum-personalized rotor can be readily admired.  Corum will only produce 50 examples of the exquisite Classical Flying Dragon watch, each being completed with a luxurious, thickly padded crocodile strap which has a matching 18K gold deployant buckle.
