Corum Classical Garden Bird watch

The Corum Classical Garden Bird watch is a beautiful, limited edition timepiece which takes as its inspiration the ephemeral beauty of the hummingbird in its graceful travels from flower to flower.  Each Corum Classical Garden Bird watch is a unique work of art, and no two dials will ever have exactly the same image or color palette.  Upon a mother of pearl base dial, the images of the hummingbird and flowers are finely engraved, after which time they are painstakingly applied with richly colored lacquer, which must be hand-fired before the next layer is applied.  This risky, labor-intensive process results in a brilliant level of detail and intensity of color. 

Each Corum Classical Garden Bird watch is animated by a fine selfwinding movement which features a central-second hand, and a power-reserve of approximately 42 hours.  This movement has earned the title of Chronometer, after having passed 15 days of exacting tests by the Controle Officiel Suisse des Chronometres (COSC); during this period the movement is oriented in various positions and temperatures, and its precision evaluated according to a narrow range of acceptable parameters.  Decorated with perlage finishing and a personalized Corum rotor, the movement can be readily admired through the sapphire window in the caseback of the watch. 

The Corum Classical Garden Bird watch, like the other members of the Corum Artisan timepiece collection, is produced exclusively in a 18k white, rose, or yellow gold, in a limited edition of 50 pieces each; upon request, the watch may also be ordered with bezel, case-lugs and crown set with full-cut diamonds.  Completed with a fine crocodile strap and a matching 18K gold buckle, the Corum Classical Garden bird watch is a remarkable work of art with an exceptional degree of charm.
